Agora, vamos falar sobre um
tema que, a maioria de vocês, acredito eu, gosta bastante: esportes. Então,
vamos lá?!
Leia as definições seguintes.
Quais esportes elas descrevem? Utilizem as palavras abaixo (nem todas serão
utilizadas):

table tennis/ping pong
“Athletes in this sport love water. They train every
day, for about 6 hours. The most important styles are: butterfly, backstroke,
freestyle and front crawl.”
“In this sport players use a stringed racquet to
strike a rubber ball over a net into the opponent’s court. The game is played
between two players (singles) or between two teams of two players (doubles).
There are four famous tournaments around the world: Australian Open, French
Open, Wimbledon, and US Open.”
”In this sport people play in two teams, each with 11
players. They play it with a ball and the teams move the ball in order to put
it into the opposing team’s goal area.”
“This is a combat sport in which two participants of
similar weight fight each other with their fists. Victory is achieved if the
opponent is knocked down ansd can’t get up before the referee counts to ten (a
knockout).”
“In Japan and in China, this is a very popular sport.
It may be played by two or four players and you need a special hard table
divided by a net to play it. The players use a small light ball and rackets
(also known as “bats” or “paddles”).
“Typical Korean martial art, it is the national sport
in South Korea. In general, it focuses on kicks and has been an Olympic sport
since 2000.
